I was asked by street photographer, Gideon de Kock, to design the cover and introduction pages to his first ever photo book published in 2018. His book covers a portion of his collection of street photos taken in Hong Kong.
The book cover was wrapped in grey fabric and a printed photo was inlayed into an embossed section on the front of the book. All the typography was then screen-printed in yellow straight over the existing layers.
In conjunction to the book cover, I designed a poster that carried through the type treatment and overlapped photography.
